I purchased a front lip and rear spoiler from SWA Auto Sports, but the fitment was not correct. I even showed them their own one-star reviews where other customers reported similar fitment issues, yet they still questioned my ability to install the front lip.
They went as far as telling me I “could not afford to go to a proper shop for a proper installation.” I found that extremely disrespectful and unprofessional.
They also tried to tell me I needed photo proof of a defective item to return it, despite that requirement not being stated in their return policy. They also attempted to charge a 15% restocking fee.
I followed their return process and sent both products back. They have received the items, but are now refusing to issue my refund.
Very disappointing experience. I would strongly recommend carefully reviewing their return policy before purchasing and keeping documentation of everything.
I’ve now had the wing installed for almost 3 months and am happy to report it’s holding strong! Only used the provided adhesive pads, but also applied 3M 94 adhesive promoter beforehand. Love the look on my liquid carbon metallic Integra A-Spec, it’s a keeper for me. Only reason I’m docking a star is due to quite a few plastic scrapings left inside each piece (both sides and the middle) which I wasn’t leaving in there before installing, so I spent a solid half hour poking a little rolled up piece of tape in the screw holes and shaking the parts around to collect and extract said scrapings. Also, I did notice a small dimple in the middle part a few weeks after installation - Can’t say for sure where it came from, but no pressure was applied there and the dimple is clearly under the paint, no actual surface damage. Only apparent if looking at it from the right angle with the sun hitting. Either way, still happy with the product overall.
Love the look. just little concern it's a stick on. vibrates a bit with driving guess because it's plastic. Over all very happy for the price, would buy again.
